A Time For Joy
“A Time For Joy” is a Holiday Season
fundraising campaign benefitting the St. Clair College: Centre for Applied
Health Sciences and the Hospice of Windsor-Essex County.
With the financial support of Blackburn
Radio and the St. Clair College Alumni Association, a 10 song music cd has been
produced and will go on sale to the public on November 15th.
The CD entitled “A Time For Joy” was
produced by local artists Jody Raffoul and Jeff Burrows. Raffoul performs lead
vocals and guitar while Burrows plays drums and percussion.
Contributing artists include:
• Wes Buckley (guitar and vocals)
• Kelly Hoppe (harmonica and sax)
• David Cyrenne (bass)
• Kelly Authier (keys and vocals
The album includes traditional Christmas songs as well as some very creative
renditions of Christmas music (Jeff and Jody can provide feedback as they
produced the music).
As part of the campaign, Jody Raffoul
will be visiting local grade schools with St. Clair College officials to promote
the educational opportunities in the arts at St. Clair College and to present
how artists give back to their local communities.
