Hospice Launches 24th Annual Face to Face Campaign

Runs Aug 15 – Sep 30, 2026 $1.8M+ raised since 2003 Supports the Fairley Family Transportation Program

Windsor, ON — Campaign founder John Fairley, together with Honorary Co-Chairs Dr. Gary Ing and Katie Kennedy, have launched the 24th annual Hospice Face to Face Campaign. This year's campaign continues to raise funds for Hospice's Fairley Family Transportation Program, which provides rides to medical appointments and Wellness Programs for Hospice clients — and, through the G.E.N.I.E. Program, helps patients request special outings like family gatherings, park visits, or one last trip home.

“Twenty-four years ago, this campaign began with a simple goal… to ensure Hospice patients and their loved ones receive the care, comfort, and compassion they deserve. Today, thanks to the incredible generosity of Windsor and Essex County, that mission continues to touch countless lives.” — John Fairley, Campaign Founder and Chair

“Because of your generosity, people in Hospice care can receive the support they need while creating meaningful memories with their loved ones,” said Katharen Bortolin, Hospice Executive Director. “Thank you for continuing to show up for our Hospice patients and families in such a meaningful and generous way.”

Community members can donate online at www.thehospice.ca or in person by supporting a canvasser, either by name or as a general contribution to the cause.
